18/07/2006 - MASER complements Malaysian Governement’s Policy in renewable energy
In complementing the Malaysian Government’s Policy of encouraging use of alternative energy resources, Maser through its subsidiary namely I.S. Energy Sdn. Bhd. establish, develop, invest, build, operate and own a new Mini-hydro Power Plant in Sg. Rek, Kelantan with the installed capacity of 2.8 MW under the Small Renewable Energy Programme (SREP) then sell the electricity and energy generated to TNB under the terms of Renewable Energy Power Purchase Agreement (REPPA).
